Words of the Month – “Arigato” (Thank you)
The busy season of the year has begun! It has been colder in the morning and the evening. Moms are concerns for the colder weather, but there are many children still in summer like outfits during the warmer daylight hours! The daikon and the green beans in the garden are growing with the support of the daily cheers and special nutritious juice from the children. The children are preparing for the visit of Santa. We wish to share the story and the appreciation for the birth of Christ. We hope everyone will spend a healthy and joyful holiday season!!

Message from Rev. Sharon
When it comes to the meaning of Christmas, I think the Grinch said it best:
And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow,
Stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?"
"It came without ribbons! It came without tags!"
"It came without packages, boxes, or bags!"
And he puzzled three hours, till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before!
"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store."
"Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!"
- - Dr. Suess
The story is told of a little girl, dressed as an angel, in a Christmas pageant. She was told to come down the center aisle, "Do you want me to walk or fly?" You feel as though she almost could have flown.
May you never lose the wonder and mystery of Christmas. May you find that deep meaning that doesn't come from a store. May you believve that Christmas-pageant angels -- and reindeer! -- really can fly.
God bless you and yours this Christmas,
Rev. Sharon Snapp-Kolas
Let’s enjoy Christmas together!
・Enjoy the winter season and notice the seasonal changes. (Temperature, Wind, Sun, Air)
・Appreciate and enjoy the growth of the daikon in the garden by giving it water and cheering it on
・Anticipate the Christmas pageant by practicing the play, songs, and instrumental music.
・Enjoy the Christmas projects and decorating the room
・Understanding the real meaning of Christmas by watching the Christmas pageant and listening to stories
・Prevent winter colds by making it a habit to gargle and wash hands
Christmas Pageant Rehearsal Picture Day
We are going to provide you Christmas Pageant Program later. We are going to hold a “Pre-Christmas Pageant picture taking day” for parents which are the days students are going to be doing their rehearsal. Please use this opportunity to take pictures and video of your child(ren). Please make sure to stay afterward for the meeting so that you can understand the process and detailed schedule ahead of time for the day.
