From the Event Committee

We have begun preparations for our two big events that are coming up: the Christmas Party in December and the Mochi Pounding Festival in January. Please check our notification email for which event you have been assigned to volunteer at. Let's work together and create lots of fun memories for our children.

We will be accepting donations for the Christmas Party and the Mochi Festival after Thanksgiving Day. Please take a look at the sign-up sheet placed next to the attendance sheet.
Also, based on our class meetings, we have made a list of things that KNI needs. If you have more ideas, please let the class mothers know. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parents will make a present at home for their child(ren) to bring to the KNI Christmas Party.
Details will be available at the Halloween Open House.

Requests

- Please make sure you have paid the Parents Association fee.
- Please do not stay at school for too long after school ends: for Kiku and Ume, please leave by 4:00, and for Sakura, please leave by 5:15.
- Please supervise your children if they play at school before or after school hours in order not to disrupt the teachers, who are still working. Also, please make sure to pick up after your children.
- Please make sure you supervise your children if they play with the turtles or rabbits outside of school hours.
- Please watch out for people breaking into cars. This has happened several times in the past.
- Please do not park your car on Elm Street. This is dangerous as it blocks children's view of oncoming traffic.

Fundraising

My name is Ikudome, and I am the Fundraising Coordinator. Thank you for ordering "Kids Art", our first fundraiser of the school year. As this was the first time I have ever organized a fundraiser for KNI, I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Scrip
You can soon order scrip for Christmas gifts. We are planning something fun, so stay tuned!

Kids Art
We've sent out 25 kids' artworks from 17 families for processing. They will probably be ready for pickup in early December. We're looking forward to seeing how they turn out!

T-shirts
We will be selling KNI T-shirts and sweatshirts soon. We are currently getting some color samples ready, so please bear with us just a little while longer!

Receipts from Marukai
We appreciate your cooperation in collecting receipts from Marukai Supermarket. Thank you in advance for your further cooperation.

Recycling
We raised $33.15 from recycling plastic bottles. Thank you very much for everyone's help!
