! We would appreciate all of your cooperation to make this day memorable and successful. If you have signed up for the volunteer work for this event, THANK YOU VERY MUCH
. The detail will be sent to you all by Class Mothers shortly.
We are also grateful that our alumni now in high-school will be helping us again this year as volunteers. Please say hello and thank
them when you see them working hard at the event! We are planning for the game for everybody including Saturday Class students, toddlers, grade school children (regardless of alumni or not), and daddies and mommies. Let’s all have lots of fun and make this KNI’s biggest event a truly memorable.
The venue was changed to the new location
this year, and the parking will be provided in the two separate locations: (1) San Gabriel Academy parking (venue this year), and (2) Jefferson Middle School parking (venue in the past years). Please pay close attention to the signs and follow the instructions of the designated volunteers to minimize any possible troubles. We will thank you for your cooperation and for considerate driving/parking manner
in the area on that day. Additionally, please be extra careful when walking on and across the street in the area among the traffic.

Report on “Cooking Class with Akira-san”
“Cooking Class with Akira-san,” instructed by the owner chef of the French restaurant “Maison Akira” in Pasadena, was held on March 13 with a huge success. We have received many positive feedbacks
, including “happy to learn the French menu that could easily be repeated at home,” “happy with the generous amount of tasting menu, which were all delicious,” “enjoyed every minute of it,” “child care was very helpful,” and so on. The survey about the menu after the event showed “extremely satisfied” or “satisfied” from all of the participants. We would like to thank
Mai Noguchi, Midori Tyler, Junko Yamauchi, and Mariko Kagawa, for all the help to make this happen. If you missed it this year, do not miss out next year!
We are recruiting Parent Association Board members and Class Mothers for the next coming school year.
The monthly Class Mother meeting is always full of friendly atmosphere, and the children of those who need the child care will be taken care by the teachers during the meeting. Many children get excited to meet new friends from other classes and to be able to play fully with the teachers. If you are interested, please feel free to speak to the current Class Mothers. We look forward to seeing you!
