Schedule: Class begins at 8:50, Cooking 9:00am – 11:00am, Food tasting 11:00am – 11:30am
Thank you for everyone who signed up for the class. We will be accepting cancellations through 3/8 (Wed) and will be contacting those on the waitlist as we receive cancellations. We will only be able to provide refunds through 3/9 (Thur). If you are unable to make it to the class, it is fine to arrange to have someone else come in your place. ＜Mid-Year Report＞
At the end of January, we put together our mid-year financial report. Our estimated income for the fiscal year was $8,240 and at mid-year we have generated $7,613.06. Our estimated spending for the fiscal year was $8,220 and at mid-year we have spent $3,125.20. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the budget, please contact the treasurer at kni2016treasurer@gmail.com.
Until now we have supported the efforts to help those affected by the Tohoku Earthquake by sending a portion of the proceeds from the KNI bazaar to the Shishiori Elementary School. This spring, we plan to send the school English books. We are asking for donations of new English books in the hopes that the students will be able to read these books for many years to come. We have heard that Disney-related books are the most popular with the students, however we would appreciate any English books that are donated. We will be accepting donations through 3/11 (Saturday). Please place the books in the box next to the attendance sheet.
The Aspire fundraiser has ended. Thank you to everyone who participated in this fundraiser.
In March, we will start selling KNI T-shirts in preparation for the undoukai. Sample T-shirts will be displayed on the playground. We have added a new color for the T-shirts, ash grey. We look forward to your participation in this fundraiser.
In April, we will start selling Scrip gift cards.
